Going minimalist ("brutally protective") with the social calendar. Kinda like being on the ranch only NOT. Jennifer jokingly calls it my hibernation period when I do this, but it will be worth it. It's an investment in my future.
Day 3
Last night's recipe for Doc's Chili was really good. To get my extra calories I added whole grain pasta and a sprinkle of low-fat Cheddar. Mmm, mmm.
Today I didn't have time to make Egg Foo Yung before we left for allergy shots, so I swapped the morning snack smoothie and drank it on the way. When I got home and could pay full attention to cooking, I made the egg/cabbage concoction, and it wasn't bad. I used leftover Canadian bacon from Day 1 as the meat so it was extremely easy and it was filling. I feel another star sticker embellishing my food journal for today (thanks to Valerie for my old WW stars).
